Marty Graul has participated in numerous roles within institutional finance including as an investment banker, a senior financial executive, a subordinated debt lender, and a private equity investor. The majority of his career has been spent in institutional investing roles, most recently as a Principal with The Riverside Company focused on leveraged buy-out transactions with enterprise values ranging from $50 to $250 million. During the span of his career, Marty has led or participated in teams that have made dozens of subordinated debt and equity investments in transactions that represent an aggregate enterprise value in excess of $500 million.

Raised in Fort Worth, Texas, Marty graduated from Texas Christian University with a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting, and he was later the recipient of an M.B.A. from The McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas. Marty and his family reside in the Dallas / Forth Worth area, where they are members of Gateway Community Church. Marty is married with three young daughters and in his leisure time, Marty enjoys hiking / mountaineering, mountain biking, digging holes (aka, playing golf) and, of course, going to all of his daughters’ soccer games.

Prior to co-founding Henrikson & Graul Capital Partners, Steve spent 13 years at Anchor Brush Company (a Philips company), primarily operating and running manufacturing facilities. Deciding to breakout on his own in 1988, Steve founded and started Team Technologies, Inc. Team Technologies is a specialized manufacturer of dental, medical & cosmetic related products. Owning and building the company over a 25-year period, he made the tough decision to sell the business to The Riverside Company in 2012. During his tenure with Team Technologies, he grew the business to more than $100 million in sales and acquired and integrated more than 13 add-on businesses.

Steve grew up in a military family and had the privilege to live all across the United States. Steve received a Bachelors' degree in Business/Economics from Aurora University (Aurora, IL) in 1979 and a MBA from Benedictine University (Lisle, IL) in 1982. His career has mainly been that of an owner/operator, which gives him a unique advantage when evaluating businesses and the people that work within those businesses. He truly believes that when you acquire a business, you are really acquiring the people and their culture.

Steve has been married to his wife, Nancy, for 37 years and has 2 daughters, 2 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. He is an avid golfer who loves to play all the great courses this country has to offer. He also loves sport cars and iconic classic cars. Most importantly, any time spent with family is the best time in one's life.
